Sony CCTV First for Newcastle City Council
Universal Systems Solutions, a North East Security Integrator, has been commissioned by Newcastle City Council to install a Sony ultra-HD 4K camera to provide CCTV coverage of the Fanzone at Newcastle's Science Central. Newcastle City Council is the first organisation in the world to have installed this cutting-edge, revolutionary technology.
4K cameras provide better, higher quality coverage with fewer cameras. The installation at the Fanzone is part of an ongoing working relationship between Universal Systems Solutions and Newcastle City Council and has been commissioned to assist in managing public safety at the Science Central site, which has a capacity of 10,000. In addition, Universal Systems Solutions have provided two Rapid Deployment wireless CCTV cameras.
Working for both public sector and private sector companies, Universal Systems Solutions specialise in security and IT systems, including IT for schools, connectivity and CCTV design and maintenance.
