Excalibur Communications Appoints CEO

Peter Boucher has been appointed CEO of progressive UK-based ICT solutions provider, Excalibur Communications.

Peter Boucher has been appointed CEO of progressive UK-based ICT solutions provider, Excalibur Communications, following a boardroom reshuffle that will see James Phipps serve as the company's Executive Chairman.

Phipps who has been with the Swindon firm for over two decades is credit with its transformation from mobile phone reseller to fully fledged managed services supplier.

"With Excalibur ready for rapid growth, now is the time for Peter and the excellent management team we have in place to drive the business forward", he says, before adding: "As Executive Chairman I will still be heavily involved in the business, with particular focus on new opportunities, acquisitions and our work with good causes. For such a sought after professional as Peter to become our new CEO speaks volumes about the wellbeing and reputation of the business. I know that the company's future is in very good hands with somebody who knows Excalibur and the industry inside out".

On learning of the appointment, Peter Boucher commented: "Becoming CEO of Excalibur Communications is a very exciting move for me. During the past seven years, Excalibur has almost doubled in size, moving to Swindon's prestigious Arclite House, recently becoming a Sunday Times Top 100 Company and a Vodafone Total Communications Partner, as well as maintaining its position as a Microsoft Gold Partner.
