Abraxas Catering are pleased to announce they will be celebrating their 20th anniversary in business with charity events to support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC).


The catering equipment specialists work with catering managers in restaurants, schools, cafes and leisure attractions across the West Midlands to find the right solution for their catering business. Working hard to ensure commercial kitchens run as efficient as possible, the experienced team at Abraxas plan, design and install the very best appliances to meet the specific needs of that kitchen, and keep it operating through their exclusive maintenance and servicing packages.


To celebrate their 20th year in business Abraxas who have a strong passion for supporting the local community, will participate in an exciting range of charity events throughout the course of the year. The company have pledged to donate all proceeds from their charity events to the lifesaving work carried out by the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC).


Sales Manager, Mike Nixon MIH, explains: "For 20 years Abraxas have been designing, servicing, installing and commissioning all types of bespoke catering equipment in commercial premises across the West Midlands. We're very pleased to be celebrating our 20th year in business and keen to raise as much money as we can for the Air Ambulance and the phenomenal work that they do to commemorate this milestone.' He adds, 'The team are very excited about the different charity events planned for the forthcoming year! First on our list is the 240ft abseil from the rooftop of the Hampton by Hilton Hotel in May, the fundraising from which will be sent to MAAC."


The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity are responsible for funding and operating three air ambulances serving the communities of six Midland counties. MAAC work hard to deliver the very best air ambulance care using the very best clinical techniques and operating standards for the benefit of their patients. Required to raise a staggering £9 million each year to keep the fleet of helicopters operational, the charity rely on the support and generous donations gifted from individuals and business amongst local communities.
