James Kelly to Step Down as BSIA CEO

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has announced that James Kelly will be leaving his role as chief executive.

David Wilkinson, director of technical services, will take up the position in an interim capacity while the association searches for a replacement.

Kelly has occupied the role since 2010, before which he was managing director of the Direct Marketing Association for nine years.

In 2015 he was ranked at 15th place on IFSEC Global's Most Influential People in Security and Fire ranking.

Simon Banks, chairman of the BSIA, said:

"On behalf of the BSIA I would like to thank James for his nine years of service for the association, and his many successes in leading and championing the security industry.

"We wish him well in his future endeavours".
