Grant Thornton Welcomes ASL to Cambridgeshire "Top 100" Companies

ASL, the office services group with headquarters at Bar Hill in Cambridge, was formally welcomed into the Top 100 list of Cambridgeshire companies at an award ceremony hosted by corporate finance advisors Grant Thornton. Entry into the 'Cambridgeshire Ltd.' Top 100 list is determined by an annual survey of Cambridgeshire companies and ranking is by turnover. ASL's turnover in the last financial year was £23 million.

Cambridgeshire is the United Kingdom's most economically successful region outside London, and economic activity in the county has a combined GVA of £24 billion - larger than many nations.

Commenting on the award, Mark Garius, ASL chief executive said: "Accolades such as this are a tribute to the hard work over many years of all the ASL work force. Our success has come about through acquisition of new businesses, retention of existing customers and extremely successful organic sales growth. We chose Cambridge as the location of our head office because we wanted to benefit from the culture of innovation and entrepreneurial success that characterises the local area, and our future growth plans depend on attracting talented individuals into the company with the right skills to drive our business forward."
