Digitising Access to Managed Lets
An innovative partnership between smart intercom company Klevio and home rental service provider Hostmaker will give digital access to Airbnb guests in the UK.
Under the deal, Hostmaker which works with more than 2,000 hosts globally, will offer them exclusive discounts for connecting their existing intercom systems to Klevio One – a smart device that generates a digital key for use by iOS and Android devices.
Designed for compatibility with a range of door systems, Klevio’s solution is suitable for houses as well as apartments as it works with intercom systems in individual properties to control private, as well as communal, doors with a single swipe and press of a button. Its practical applications include allowing short-let agents to open doors remotely for late arrivals.
Discussing the partnership, Hostmaker’s Head of Guest Services, Veronica Rivas, said:

Aleš Špetič, CEO and co-founder of Klevio which has similar agreements with other property management companies, including Resident.ly, Stay Keepers, Perch, Club Living and Urang Group since launching in May 2018, added:
