Cushman & Wakefield has appointed seasoned real estate leader Christina Roush as Managing Principal of its operations in San Diego, California.

Roush brings over three decades of commercial real estate and leadership experience to her new role and will oversee the growth of Cushman & Wakefield offices in San Diego, including a new regional headquarters in Del Mar, Downtown, Carlsbad (North County), a location at Otay Mesa (South County), and a dedicated property management services office.

In addition to her new appointment, Roush will continue as Cushman & Wakefield’s Managing Principal for Nevada. Under her helm since mid 2018, the firm experienced strong, exponential business and revenue growth in Nevada where it is now recognized as a top real estate firm in the state. Roush also leads, and partnered to build, Cushman & Wakefield’s Private Capital Group currently in 12 key markets in the western U.S. that transacted more than $2 billion in 2021.

“Christina is an authentic, driven real estate leader with a remarkable track record of building high-performing teams and scaling businesses with sincere attention to culture,” says Dan Broderick, Cushman & Wakefield President of the West Region. “She has a lifetime of connections in San Diego and was the perfect fit to lead our regional operations, which has for many years maintained its position as a market leader driven by our accomplished talent. Bringing in a proven leader as Christina was essential to further elevating our platform in this fast-growing, critical market.”

Roush also earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of San Diego and served on the university’s Board of Directors for the Burnham-Moores Center of Real Estate / Knauss School of Business.

“I am very pleased at this opportunity to lead our exceptional team in San Diego, and in helping further grow our position as a market leader in the region. Having lived, worked and vacationed in San Diego throughout my life, it really is a second-nature market for me and has always been near and dear to my heart,” she says, commenting on the appointment. ”San Diego is an idyllic coastal market recognized globally for myriad reasons and has become a sought-after, world-class location for many vital, forward-looking industries while boasting many of the world’s finest academic and research institutions. There is great momentum here and I am excited to be a part of it moving forward.”
