Planon has acquired Bremen-based control.IT Unternehmensberatung GmbH, and subsidiaries easol GmbH and Synapplix GmbH as it strengthens its cloud-based real estate (RE) asset and portfolio management capabilities.

control.IT has supported the real estate sector in Germany for more than 27 years, and has a user base across the DACH region and worldwide. Its SaaS products, bison.box and CollaborationApp, support more than 100 companies with more than 5,000 users responsible for managing some EUR 600 billion of assets.

control.IT’s previous shareholders, Jan Körner, Klaus Weinert and Rieks Westers, as well as institutional investors HIH Real Estate GmbH, KGAL GmbH & Co. KG and PATRIZIA SE, are selling their holdings in full to Planon, with further cooperation expected in future between the company and HIH, KGAL and PATRIZIA.
