Unions GMB and Unite have responded to the death of a worker at the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station site in Somerset, South West England.

Hinkley Point C Union Convenors and Reps said:

"GMB Union and Unite the Union members at Hinkley Point C are devastated by the tragic loss of one of our own.

"All of our thoughts and condolences are with his loved ones and friends at this tragic time."
