Wingstop UK Expands in Scotland
Wingstop UK has announced two further Scottish openings with its first Glasgow site opening today and a second site opening in Edinburgh on 11th December.
To celebrate today’s opening in Glasgow, the first 100 customers in store will receive free wings.
Today’s opening in the St.
Enoch Centre will be the first Wingstop dine-in site in Glasgow, further to its delivery unit, which remains popular with customers who want to enjoy Wingstop’s signature wings delivered fresh to their homes.
Next month, Wingstop UK will open its second site in the Scottish capital in Fountain Park, following the success of its Edinburgh St.
James Quarter site which is the shopping centre’s top food destination in terms of sales and visits, proving its popularity in the city already.
Both sites will sell the usual mouth-watering wings, tenders, burgers, and sides, always cooked to order, and hand-sauced-and-tossed in a choice of ten bold distinctive flavours.
Alongside offering unparalleled flavour, the two new sites boast modern and vibrant interiors complete with curated playlists and customised ordering options.
Tom Grogan, co-founder of Lemon Pepper Holdings, master franchisee, Wingstop UK, says:“We are so excited to be opening two new sites in Scotland – our popularity at Edinburgh’s St James Quarter, which is the number one restaurant by footfall in the centre, just shows how the Scots are hungry for our wings!
"Having celebrated our five-year anniversary in the UK just last month, we want to say thank you to our loyal customers and the hard work of our team.
We’re only just getting started and are excited for what’s to come.”
Launched in 2018, Wingstop UK now operates from 39 locations and employs over 1,600 staff.
