Saving Housing Groups Unnecessary Boiler Callouts

Vericon Systems has added a new remote access feature to its connected intelligent boiler control system for Housing Associations and Social Housing providers, BCM:Connect.

BCM:Connect monitors a boiler’s condition in real time, using machine learning to predict system failures.

The solution can also monitor boilers remotely, as well as service, limit and reset them offsite; with performance data recorded and analysed on dedicated portal, VS:Connect.

Bernard Cook, Vericon Systems managing director, explains: “The number of emergency call outs organisations have to make remains high due to the need to assess and diagnose the problem before being in a position to effect a repair. The chances of a return visit with parts is also highly likely.

“Even when you have the time and date booked for the boiler service, gaining access to the property can be an issue. This is another unwanted and costly expense to the business, as well as wasted time for the contractor and you.”

Vericon Systems is currently offering Housing Associations and Social Housing providers in the United Kingdom the opportunity to trial BCM:Connect for 90 days at no cost. The 90-day trial includes five BCM:Connect devices, unlimited access to the VS:Connect Portal, and full product training and support.
