Cushman & Wakefield Expands Tenant Advisory Team

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed tenant advisory specialist Aaron Rocha as a director of its Phoenix office.

Rocha will work alongside Larry Downey – Cushman & Wakefield’s vice-Chairman of CRE, director Brett Thompson, and client services and marketing coordinator, Candace Thrush.

The veteran team boasts over 50 years of collective experience and has closed approximately 4,500 lease and sale transactions. It focuses on providing occupancy solutions for clients – including relocation, acquisition, renewal/lease restructuring, and consolidation services in local, national and global markets.

Rocha brings eight years of commercial real estate experience to his new role and has completed more than 10 million square feet of global lease and sales transactions in under a decade. His previous positions have included Head of Global Real Estate for Fortune 500 tech company, Snapchat, Inc., and he has recently served as Senior Director of Real Estate for flex-space operator, WeWork.

In his new role as a tenant advisory director, Rocha will focus on new business development and assist tenants to navigate and achieve their real estate goals regarding the commercial office market including strategic planning, lease negotiations, and site selection utilizing the Cushman & Wakefield global platform.

Announcing the appointment,  Downey said: “Aaron is an accomplished real estate professional and a great addition to our team,”. “His industry experience will provide us with further opportunities to grow our tenant advisory platform and provide our clients with proven real estate strategies and solutions.”

Rocha is a member of the Urban Land Institute and graduated from Arizona State University.
